As an athlete, I would love to train, often for hours at a time, looking for that extra edge. I could run, jump and lift well enough, but I kept suffering from nagging, recurring injuries that would set me back.
After years of experiencing injury and sub-optimal returns , I knew something had to change.
I decided to learn about the science behind effective training (yes, there is a method behind the madness). I graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Health Science degree and I gained my CSCS Certification from the NSCA shortly after. I began to see good (and bad) movement on TV, on the field, on the track, in the rink, in the ring and on the mats, and I knew that I wanted to develop my skills to help athletes perform better. I abandoned my “Rambo” methods and I committed myself to learning and teaching at the highest level.
At RevCon, I combine my passion for coaching, movement, exercise and rehabilitation to help athletes achieve their goals. Though my methods have evolved, I still believe that every rep, every inch and every second count, because how we do one thing is how we do everything.
It is my goal to contribute to a culture of excellence both inside and outside of the gym.
Onwards & Upwards!
