So, maybe the picture above is a little mis-leading 🙂  It is neither of the recipes that Team RevCon All Star and Plant Matter Kitchen Founder, Glenn Whitehead gave me to share for our #NutritionChallengeRevCon.  I will give you those in a second, BUT…you can get this deliciousness for your dessert when you go to Plant Matter Kitchen for lunch or dinner.  You better go for a good mountain bike, maybe one of our 300-workouts or a combination of both before you dig into that one 🙂

It just looks so good, I couldn’t resist.

And now for the REAL recipes that Glenn sent over… these are going to be much easier for you to whip up in the morning or the night before.

Recipe 1: Quick Oats To Go

Soak raw whole oats and some chia seeds in water, cinnamon and even some apple cider overnight.
Add Goji berries and cacao nibs if you want a superfood boost.  Who doesn’t want that?
In the morning add some fruit and coconut yogurt.
Amazing energy day-starter.  It will last 4-5 days in the refrigerator, so why not make a little extra.

Recipe 2: Power Smoothie  – this is a PMK favourite!

  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 2TBSP raw cacao powder
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 TBSP maple syrup
  • 1-2 cups cashew, coconut, almond or soy milk (unsweetened)
Blend and drink – like a chocolate-banana milkshake!
