Holla! How’s the week treating you so far…almost to the weekend so hang in there 🙂
My week has been most excellent, thank you very much for asking. It has been busy – released a new program for my online business, www.HockeyTrainingPro.com – it is a Facebook based coaching program for hockey goalies. First day sales were good and I will keep promoting it for a few days and then shut the door so we can help the goalies lose about 4-8lbs of fat, add some muscle and frustrate more shooters.
Random #1 – We had our first snowfall which still thrills me as much as it did when I was a little kid! I will know my soul has died if I ever don’t feel that surge of excitement 🙂
Random #2 – It also occurred to me that Christmas Eve is on a Tuesday and we all know what that means…Champagne workout at 7am on the 24th – wooHOoooooo – get ready Trev!
Random #3 – Our favourite Ice Dancers, Scott and Tessa are at it this weekend, competing in Paris, France today and Saturday. Make sure to catch their Free Dance if you can on Saturday – it is amazing and is the routine they will use at the Olympics in February.
Random #4 – Go STANGS Go!!! Nuff said.
What I am reading right now…
Finally finished the Springsteen biography – I give it a 6 out of 10 (a pretty dry presentation of the story). Think I actually like Springsteen a wee bit less than I did before reading it, but maybe I also understand a bit why he is the way he is. But really, I am not sure it is fair that Springsteen is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but NOT the E Street Band.
Seriously, if Springsteen had refused to be inducted without the band – – do you think the Hall would have said, ‘okay, well forget about it then’. Never had to walk a mile in the man’s moccasins and his accomplishments are outstanding in the face of adversity and ample opportunity for failure.

Things that made me go ‘What the???’
#1 – Along with the rest of the civilized world, Rob Ford seems to have me saying this on an hourly basis. Please make him just go away (not as in leave the earth, just leave the newscast and get some help). Sorry to even mention it here – I know you are all sick of it.
#2 – The radio host who I heard on a local radio station this morning (cough, cough ##BX93$$, cough) who was discussing a potential ban on smoking on the patios at restaurants and bars. My opinion – YEAH!! DO IT! The host was saying that he didn’t really care if people were allowed to continue smoking on patios, then he felt compelled to remind everyone to ‘remember, the government gets a lot of tax dollars from people who buy cigarettes’ – – WHAAAATTTT??? What about the health care costs of smokers jack ass? Great argument. Ugh.
