How about that snow?  I LOVED it – I wish we could wake up to an extra 10cm every morning from now until Christmas!  I know some of you may not share my enthusiasm and that is cool 🙂  we can still be friends.

As we get closer to the holidays, I know some of you will be thinking about what to eat and some of you will be traveling to tournaments for hockey, basketball, volleyball, whatever – so I recently sat down with Registered Dietician Lisa Cianfrini, MSc of www.Nutrigenerd.com in London, ON to talk athlete nutrition.

We got into specifics like:

  • what cereal brands are the best
  • are there any types of crackers that are healthier
  • if you are on the road, what is the best fast food option
  • what is the ‘next big thing’ in nutrition
